Å spora opp historia til kvinnene i Vågespel er eit utfordrande – men viktig arbeid. Mange av dei me fortel om, reiste ut frå Noreg tidleg på 1800-talet. Spor etter dei er ofte få, og det kan vere vanskeleg å finne både namn, bilete og konkrete opplysningar.
Me har lagt ned mykje research We’ve done extensive research—digging through letters, family histories, and historical records. Still, we haven’t been able to locate photos of all the women yet.
