Daugthers of Norway

By the late 19th century, about 800,000 Norwegians had emigrated to North America, and many gathered in organizations to preserve Norwegian culture and support each other. Sons of Norway and later Daughters of Norway were founded to provide daily support and keep Norwegian traditions alive.
